If you’re getting married in or around Wakefield, I’ve taken the time to get all the details of some of the better wedding florists. There’s a PDF download below this article.

As soon as you get engaged the chances are that you’re going to get on the internet and start your research on all aspects of wedding planning and honeymoons.

After you’ve decided which florists you’re going to visit make sure you have questions prepared and some kind of idea what you may want.

You may take picture samples from the internet or have an idea what colour theme for bridesmaids will be. Even photos of the venue will be of help to the florist. Ideally you’ll have a wedding date too as the florist will know what flowers are in season.

A good florist will be able to advise you what’s available for your budget and suggest ideas that will compliment your style of wedding.

Selecting a florist isn’t just about flowers.

Allow them to be creative and suggest ideas, you need to be able to trust them and build a repour. There will be a lot of communication back and forth exchanging details so it’s important that you can plan together.
